Female dog Lajka lives on the outskirts of a Russian metropolis. It’s not easy. After capture, she is retrained as a pioneer of cosmonautics. Right after her launch into spaces, she is followed by a number of other animals launched from Houston and Baikonur. The animals travel through space until eventually, via a black hole, they begin to happily inhabit a distant planet. After a long period of harmonic and undisturbed life with the local lifeforms, they are reached by two human astronauts…
