NEXTalks 2020: Nkita Diakur
Nikita Diakur je ruský filmár a animátor žijúci v Nemecku. Jeho najznámejší projekt “Ugly” (2017) získal množstvo ocenení na medzinárodných filmových festivaloch. Po ňom nasledoval animovaný krátky film “Fest” (2018), ktorý bol odvysielaný na kanáli Adult Swim Online a začal obiehať festivaly ako Oberhausen, Záhreb a Annecy.
The signature technique used in his films is dynamic computer simulation, which embraces spontaneity, randomness and mistakes. Diakur is regularly giving talks and workshops at Festivals and Universities and has been artist in residence at Q21 in Vienna.
Nikita Diakur je autorom video teaser-u Claw Machine pre festival NEXT 2020 na propagáciu predstavení a workshopov, ktoré A4 predstavila počas tohto ročníka festivalu.
V rámci projektu medzinárodnej spolupráce Re-Imagine Europe, spolufinancovaného z programu EU Kreatívna Európa, Fondom na podporu umenia a hlavným mestom SR – Bratislavou.

Nikita Diakur is a Russian-born filmmaker based in Germany. His most distinguished project “Ugly” (2017) has won multiple awards at International film festivals. It was followed by the animated short “Fest” (2018) that screened on Adult Swim Online and started its festival circuit in Oberhausen, Zagreb and Annecy.

Nikita Diakur made a video teaser (Claw Machine) for the NEXT Festival in order to promote the performances and workshops produced by A4 as part of the festival.
Produced by A4 as part of the international collaborative project Re-Imagine Europe, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, Slovak Arts Council and Bratislava – capital of SR.
The video was created also by volunteers, as part of a project supported by the European Solidarity Corps program.
