The State Captured

The making of the film The State Captured started as look back at those who were tangled in the corruption Case Gorilla. Shortly after the start of the filming the murder of Ján Kuciak and Martina Kušnírová happened. The film analyzes the attempts to influence the public space using compromising materials and silencing or emphasizing certain information in a certain time so the narrative – accepted by the majority as the truth – stays unshaken.

The screening is a part of simultaneous premieres of the film. After the screening a discussion with the director and other professionals organized by Café Európa and Svet medzi riadkami follows.
