Climate Autumn #1 – Príbeh nula / Bod obratu + Karmína

More and more people are accepting the fact that the climate is changing. Different opinion groups are forming, too. The simple observation that the climate change is directly caused by the human activity is not doubted by many anymore, but its interpretations vary. In the presentation we will look at the climate change not only as an ecological phenomenon but also a process that is in direct correlation with a specific form of human society – capitalism. We will be asking questions from this perspective – who is really responsible for the warming? Is it simply “the human kind” and its inadequate environmental consciousness and harmful technologies? Are we all equally guilty? Can we solve the problem by becoming more modest and changing our consumers’ habits?
