Fest Anča: The Wandering Kite / FOR CHILDREN

The Wandering Kite is a high-quality program of thematically and stylistically diverse animated short films for our youngest spectators. The program consists of contemporary films from Central and Eastern Europe and is suitable for children aged 4 and up. The films were carefully selected by media psychologist and children and youth’s program director at the Slovenian State Television, Martina Peštaj, and director of Animateka International Animated Film Festival, Igor Prassel.

The program is recommended for kindergarten to third-year primary schoolchildren.

The screening will include a short learning program that will help children to develop their reflective skills. Questions in three related sections will draw their attention to the story’s individual elements and the film’s cinematographic language. With the aid of a work sheet, children can evaluate the films and draw scenes that left the deepest impression.
