Glitch Tonic #4 / Sound & Art Meetup: Bolka, Boris Vitázek, DIMM, Koleso nešťastia

Every month we provide space for an informal gathering of a community of artists working creatively with sound, experimental music and new media art. An ideal opportunity to share ideas, exchange experiences, get to know people and build a community around original approaches to making. During the meetup, invited guests will show us their concert setups or reveal behind-the-scenes of their creative methods, and open discussion about current or work-in-progress projects is also welcome.

This time, four creators will come to show us their secret tips and tricks:
– Bolka (a.k.a. Matúš Kobolka), a graduate of sonology at the Conservatoire in The Hague and a song innovator expressing himself fluently in the SuperCollider language, among other things,
– New media artist Boris Vitázek (a.k.a. Stix), using image, sound and interactivity in various projects,
– Producer and DJ DIMM a.k.a. Dominik Demčák, creating rhythmic tracks using various hardware instruments,
– Ondřej Spiritza known as Koleso nešťastia (Wheel of Misfortune) will present how he made his fresh album using a tablet.
