A documentary about one of the most important 20th-century buildings – the abandoned sanatorium Machnáč in the spa city Trenčianske Teplice. This constructivist building was a celebration of progress, a substantiation of the architect’s perception of humanism. In it, the architect demonstrated his views on technical and social progress and build a symbol of modern society. Today: a modernist ruin of utopia. A cruise ship derelict in a spa park. The owners have no interest to maintain a building that is not profitable. The film explores the phenomenon of this exceptional building through people who have not given up the struggle to save Machnáč.
