Winner of the Orizzonti section from the Venice film festival is a biography of the singer Nico, from the circles of Andy Warhol and The Velvet Underground. It’s the 80’s, Nico is living a lonely life in Manchester, and it’s her new manager that gives her strength to fight her personal demons and go on tour again – where she will visit communist Prague as well. The movie is a story of the rebirth of an artist, a mother and an icon.
