Futurit: 40 years of ambient

entry: free entry

Brian Enas album Music for Airports was published forty years ago. Ambient was around before, but this album and concept defined a new genre.
Ambient has been flowing ever since pure, but also as a part of other genres. It fills up infinitely empty spaces, describes the lands of ice. Noise is near, a button turns away. New age, world music, and chill-out as well. Despite it all, ambient can also be a deep emotional music. Music which is not in a rush, but requires concentrated listening.
Discover the genre classics as well as forgotten recordings from the past forty years. All this at the musical lecture by Peter Dolník.
