Sixteen-year-old Ola has to, unwillingly become the head of the family. Her mom is away, her father only sits in front of the TV and her younger brother needs a lot of attention. Ola uses her upcoming Holy Communion as a means to reunite the family. An exceptionally mature debut from Anna Zamecka was awarded in Locarno and received the European film award for the best documentary film.
