Festival of the Theatre of the Oppressed: Queens of the Theatre of the Oppressed

The festival of the theatre of the oppressed QOTO will bring a not well known form of Theatre Forum to Bratislava. It introduces one of the techniques of the Theatre of the Oppressed that was developed in the second half of the 20th century by the Brazilian theatre theoretician and political activist Augusto Boal. It is a creative, entertaining and powerful technique that helps to discover different solutions of problems and conflicts that we all come to face in our families, relationships, schools, communities and public spaces. During the performances of the Theatre Forum the actors and actresses will introduce a problem and invite the viewers to enter the stage and look for answers with them. Together they will learn how to deal with conflicts and difficult situations in a safe space.
