Norwegian documentary filmmaker with extremist past embarks on a journey back to her youth twenty years ago. She finds people with a similar story in Germany, Denmar, France and USA – ex-members of extremist movements that had decided in one moment that hate shouldn’t be their life-program.  In series of intimate interviews they share memories of their own crimes, painful moments, fears and courage to change their life.
