Tomáš Danielis: 21&Counting

Performance about movement, words, euphemisms and about what is hidden inside. It stands on an ironic excuse: a belated celebration of twenty years on the stage of the author who delves into his memories and uses movement as the tool of talking about words and communication. 21&COUNTING humorously examines the use of political correctness as an escape from reality that deepens the current problems with accepting people and lack of trust in values during everyday human interactions.  

Tomáš Danielis lives and works between Brussels, Graz, Moscow and Topoľčany. His creative focus is on the intersection of visual/digital art with movement and dance. As an experienced dancer he deals with understanding and conceptualization of the performance through the use of space. For each of his projects he creates a specific set of tools and movement language. He presented his works in more than 20 countries.
