Heritages: Jozef Bučko and anti-facist resistance

entry: free entry

Evangelical pastor Jozef Bučko is an example of a courageous human who spoke, wrote and participated in the resistance against the Nazi regime despite threats of persecution by the authorities of the Slovak Republic (1939-1945). His anti-fascist and anti-communist attitudes inspire the constant fight for human rights to this day.

Heritages is a new cultural and educational format that involves readings and interpretation of archive materials that show gravitation of Slovak writers to humanist and democratic values.

Presented by Mgr. Lukáš Krajčír, PhD., researcher of the Slovak historical institute of Matica Slovenská
