Kristina Warren (US), Márk Bartha (HU, EXILES) – premiere

American sound artist and a composer Kristina Warren believes that collective listening is a rare and political act. Warren uses hand-constructed tools when creating performances, installations and compositions. Their style, also called “ASMR drone” uses quieter volumes and sensitive orchestrations of sensitive sounds, able to evoke pleasant physical feelings of trembling and tingling on skin. 

Electronic musician and multi-media artist Márk Bartha (also known as DJ Lohuma) prepared a new audiovisual performance during his two-months residency in A4, in which multichannel sound connects with LED light elements.

The performance was created as a part of the Visegrad Artist Residency Program project and supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
