The future of independent cultural centers in Slovakia
With Zuzana Psotková (Tabačka – Košice), Fero Maxin (Bašta – Bardejov), Ján Mikuš (Diera do sveta – Liptovský Mikuláš), Nina de Gelder (A4 – Bratislava), moderated by Barbora Andor Tóthová.

Barbora Andor Tóthová is a cultural manager, co-founder of the Úsmev Cinema and a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Economics at the Technical University of Economics in Košice. Her research focuses mainly on the impact of independent culture with a focus on cultural centers and urban development through cultural projects. In a panel discussion with guests from Slovak cultural centers, she will discuss the themes that resonate in her research outputs and seek to answer what the future of cultural centres (also) might look like in the current political climate.
