Mary Lattimore

Harpist and composer Mary Lattimore lives in Los Angeles and creates dreamy, ethereal songs-with her instrument and effects. As one of today’s leading instrumental storytellers, she has “an uncanny ability to strum a string in a way that makes someone instantly remember the taste of a fifth birthday cake,” as Pitchfork magazine put it. Lattimore also performs and records with artists such as Meg Baird, Thurston Moore, Steve Gunn and Fursaxa. Last fall, she released her award-winning album “Goodbye, Hotel Arcade” on the label Ghostly International, featuring guest appearances by Lol Tolhurst (The Cure) and Rachel Goswell (Slowdive).

Humming Amps

The evening will be opened by the tight surfaces of Humming Amps, the project by guitarist Kevin Doria, also known from GROWING, Hiss Tracts, Total Life and Sing Sinck, Sing. Over the past 20 years, Doria has released music on labels such as Kranky, The Social Registry and Important Records, among others.
