Mikroskop VII. – Philipp Gerschlauer (DE) – Microtonal Saxophon

Philipp Gerschlauer is one of the world’s most respected figures on the microtonal saxophone music scene. His domain is jazz but also contemporary experimental music. Gerschlauer is unique and is one of the few performers specializing in playing in the 128-tone octave system, which he proves through numerous albums and productions. The recital will be preceded by a work dedicated to re-tuned amplified stringed instruments and reed aerophones by local composer and performer Matej Sloboda.
