The student experimental ensemble EIAPUF, under the artistic direction of pedagogue and pianist Tibor Feledi, operates at the Exnárova Elementary School and recently celebrated 10 years of operation. During this time, it has featured a number of young musicians who have been introduced to contemporary music (often for the first time) in the ensemble. In their early musical studies, they have been introduced to experimental and improvised music, discovering extended playing techniques and conceptual and graphic scores. The ensemble has performed at events such as IFEM 2018, Art’s Birthday, Adamčiak in Cage (2020) at A4 or the concert project “Adamčiak to School”, as part of the retrospective exhibition of Milan Adamčiak’s intermedia work at the National Gallery of Art: Adamčiak, start! (2017). In their last concert in 2024, they played Terry Riley’s legendary In C at T3 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the composition.
