La Tène, Line Gate

The French-Swiss collective La Tène got famous thanks to their long hypnotic music rides without words, built on traditional folk instruments such as hurdy-gurdy or bagpipes, joined with guitar, bass and repetitive percussion together with soft electronic ornaments. Although it might seem a bit archaic, it’s a very new and exciting music capable of evoking almost a psychedelic experience.

The start of the evening will belong to the meditative hurdy-gurdy (ninera) tones of the Slovak project Line Gate – Michal Vaľko, a Slovak musician based in Prague, who is currently releasing a new album.
