About the festival
The One World International Film Festival is the flagship of the non-profit organization Man in Peril and is also the largest and oldest documentary event in Slovakia.
The Klezmer Project
Directing: Leandro Koch, Paloma Schachmann /AR, AT/ 110 min./ 2023. English subtitles.
Synopsis: A wedding cameraman and a clarinet player fall in love at a Jewish wedding in Argentina and travel to Eastern Europe in search of remnants of Yiddish and klezmer culture. Full of music and witticisms, this romantic film explores the historical, social, and political place of language, culture, and music.
The screening will be followed by a concert by the Pressburger Klezmer Band at 9 pm.
This event is organised by the One World Festival, the A4 annual pass is not valid for this event.
