Two dancers, shrouded in darkness, maneuver their bodies according to trajectories that are at times loose and light, at others vigorous and fragmented, reinterpreting the theme of the pas de deux, a scenic system that has always emphasized the profound value of connection and relationship in the history of ballet.
The pas de deux is rethought as a chance to release emotional states through intention, dynamics and spatial joining.
Giulio Petrucci and Jari Boldrini’s performance explores the journey of visual landscapes through the body, drawing on timeless images to develop new forms of virtuosity and recreate narrative glimpses of utopia.
