Negativland (USA), The Blackwood Incident (SK)
The US team Negativland would undoubtedly become famous even without legal issues with band U2. But it happened – a parody collages of known songs making fun from a machine pop music received much attention in early 90’s. Whether Negativland’s projects are marked as socially-critical, conceptual or radical, they always find artistically-innovative way to face the problems of the outside world. Now, for the first time in more than 30-year history will show off new versions of their audio tracks, using its own sound equipment.
Also starring: Multimedia project The Blackwood Incident (Dominic Novák, Jozef Čaba) presenting improvisational performance with modular synthesizer along with “TV installation” visualising sound events.
