Lion tamer Tairo has lost his lucky charm, which he has carried with him since he was a child. And so begins a journey around the provincial circuses of Italy. It is a journey marked by encounters with members of his family, through which he retraces his own life, and celebrates belonging to a world on the margins, strange and invisible to most.
