Film x art: Built to Last

Directed by Haruna Honcoop, CZ, 58 min., various languages English subtitles

The November feature of the film x art cycle, films about art, will focus on post-war “socialist” architecture in central and eastern Europe. An experimental documentary film, or rather ten short films, will present administrative buildings, museums, monuments or apartment blocks in ten countries of the former Eastern bloc – relicts of a not-so-distant past, which were supposed to last forever. 

The film will be presented by the author in person. 

In cooperation with the Czech Center in Bratislava.
