Documentary film about five monumental buildings built in Europe during of socialist era: Lomonosov University in Moscow, Palace of Serbia in Belgrade, Palace of the Republic in Berlin, National Palace of Culture in Sofia, and the People’s Palace in Bucharest. Through interviews with architects, former and current directors and employees, the film talks about architecture for people and uncovers our relationship to the past.
