The documentary film follows the professional and personal life of the Slovak journalist, reporter and photographer Andrej Bán. Through the intimate conversations while traveling together the director Jaro Vojtek, the filmmaker captures Andrej’s battle with loneliness, mental health issues and attempts to start a long-term relationship. Paralelly the film examines the tragic and complex stories of the contemporary world in the war-torn zones, crisis regions and refugee camps. Paradise on the earth is a topography of tragic battles of a man and the world, a continuous therapy without an end.
