We all know what comes after the wedding kiss in fairy tales. They live happily ever after. But what comes after a divorce? Is it possible to stop being a parent – in the same way it is possible to stop being somebody’s parter? Do people only have children nowadays, because it’s supposed to be beautiful, enriching? Do they consider having children to be a fulfillment of their partnership?

The play was inspired by the novel by Avery Corman Kramer versus Kramer, mostly also known thanks to its Hollywood film adaptation with Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman. The play aims to map the changes in the understanding of the face of today’s family and/or partnership in comparison with so-called traditional families and support the redefining of family with the contemporary society in mind.
