Humiliated and Bloodthirsty is a modern drama accompanied by an electronic live-act. It brings closer the eternal mechanism of power. It is a struggle of “gnat against elephant” as the humanist Castellio wrote about it in the 16th century, when he was persecuted by the tentacles of Calvinist theocracy. Why are we prone to follow self-appointed saviors? The production references Stefan Zweig’s novel Conscience Against Violence. It will take you on a deep dive into the interior – if not your own, then that of the person next to you. The suggestive artistic statement is both an invitation to tolerance and a critique into one’s own ranks.

The creators of the production won the DOSKY 2022 award in the categories of Best Direction of the Season and Best Costume Design of the Season.
