Blaga is a retired teacher who falls victim to a phone scam and loses her life savings. The once resilient and honest woman slowly begins to sacrifice all her principles to get her money back. She is torn between a pushy owner of a tombstone company, feelings of sadness, loneliness and financial insecurity, as well as shame for being a victim of scammers. Blaga’s lessons are a study in decaying character.
