A couple in their thirties – Jirka, a translator from Lithuanian, and Aneta, an occupational therapist – lead a quiet life in a recently renovated First Republic apartment in Prague. When they let the mother of one of them cross its threshold, they have no idea that they have just found themselves in a chamber purgatory. Until now, they thought they were happy. Or so they pretended to their friends. But after the unexpected arrival of their mother and mother-in-law in one person, their peaceful life slowly turns into a chaotic wreck. Sixty-year-old Valerie is an energetic diva who is conquering step by step not only the space of the apartment, but also the minds of its inhabitants. A one-night visit gradually turns into a home invasion gaining momentum. Certainties are shaken, the boundaries of privacy crumble.
