That hunger is eating you from inside / doesn’t let you go / tying you down with yourself / telling you, what to feel / you are confused / alert / anxious / paranoid / Madness / Things don’t mean what they mean

Strange life of senses, secrets of nerves in a hungry, searching and conflicted body.

Hunger – a physical state that conquers not only our body, but also our mind. Loosely inspired by the eponymous, partly autobiographical novel Hunger by Norwegian Nobel Prize-winning writer Knut Hamsun, the production presents and analyses the concept of hunger not only in terms of its physical nature, but also as a growing phenomenon of our time – a symbol of a man painfully feeling his emptiness and hungering for life, who tries to fill this emptiness and satiate his hunger in every possible way.

Supported using public funding by Slovak Arts Council and Bratislava City Foundation.
