The NEXT Festival presents the latest work of artists from around the world, playing vibrant and inspiring contemporary music without genre restrictions. Its name symbolizes the fusion of the terms “new & experimental”. Radical melodies, lively improvisations, unpolished sounds, original musical techniques and concepts, acoustic instruments and innovative electronics or multimedia projects. For the 25th time you can look forward to five days of inspiring music and sound art expressing today’s times in several venues in the capital.

The NEXT 2024 Festival is supported by public funds from the Slovak Arts Council (main partner), the City of Bratislava, the Bratislava Old Town Municipality, the Goethe-Institut and BKIS. It is co-organised by A4 as part of the New Perspectives for Action project within the international cooperation Re-Imagine Europe, co-financed by the European Union and public funds from the Slovak Arts Council and the Bratislava City Foundation.
The annual A4 membership card is not valid for the NEXT festival.
