NORDIC SHAKE: STAER (NOR), PUBLIC ENEMA (NOR)
A4-ku rozpohybuje hneď po Veľkej noci energeticky výdatný “fresh saladcore” z ďalekého severu: noise-(math?)-rocková trojica Staer vznikla v roku 2010 a hneď sa prepracovala medzi jednu z najžiadanejších koncertných kapiel, sľubujúcich intenzívny zážitok. Majú síce len gitaru, basu a bicie, ale vystačí to na šťavnatý nadžánrový a hypnotický “Happy Meal” náklad. Kto vyhľadáva vysoké napätie vyskytujúce sa v projektoch ako Lightning Bolt, Zu či MoHa!, pri tomto zvukotrasení určite nepríde skrátka – naliehavé basové groovy a virtuózne rytmy, obložené nepravidelnnými erupciami škrípajúcich melodických útržkov.
Svieži nordický večierok okorení spriaznená improvizujúca “superskupina” Public Enema, zložená z undergroundových celebrít nórskej scény – gitarista John Hegre (Jazkamer, Noxagt) a bubeník Nils Are Drønen.

STAER’s Happy Meal is comprised of 100% distorted, octave-pitched meat patty, two piercing blastbeat high-gluten buns, fresh saladcore and our house cunt-o-matic dressing. Choose between high-fat ringmodulator or cold filtered noise.
STAER first spread its counter-cultural wings in 2010. STAER use guitars and drums because they want the best.
STAER will embark on yet another European tour in October 2012.

PUBLIC ENEMA
Public Enema is the longest running project of both guitarist John Hegre and drummer Nils Are Drønen. Since 1996 we played free form music. Although we
played/rehearsed more with Public Enema than with any other project we´ve been in, we only played five gigs as a duo. We played concerts with saxophone player Frode Gjerstad and harding-fiddle player Nils Økland amongst others, released several albums notably as Jazkamer (with Lasse Marhaug) and as der brief (with Jørgen Larsson) no releases as duo Public Enema. The live version of Jazkamer has for the last couple of years consisted of us and Lasse Marhaug on electronics/guitar. Our music is most often characterized as high energy free form, but we do believe in the unpredictability of free improvised music and find that we still are able to surprise ourselves with the outcome of our improvisations and thus we are also hopefully able to surprise our audiences as well.
