White Boy Scream, Lènok

Sopranistka a skladateľka Micaela Tobin k nám prináša experimentálnu operu z Los Angeles, kde okrem iného pôsobí aj na California Institute for the Arts.
Na svojom najnovšom albume BAKUNAWA dekonštruuje svoj hlas pomocou elektroniky ako prostriedku na skúmanie identity a traumy predkov. BAKUNAWA je poctou predkoloniálnej mytológii jej materskej krajiny, Filipín. Čiastočne zvukový rituál, čiastočne diasporické rozprávanie, Tobin „používa svoj hlas a nástroje ako nástroje aj zbrane…“ (The Wire Magazine). Speváčku budú sprevádzať spoluautorka a multiinštrumentalistka Rhea Fowler a perkusionista Adam Starkopf.

Jej druhy album, ‘Remains’ označil The Wire ako jeden z 10 najlepších Noise/Industrial albumov roku 2018 a jej posledný album BAKUNAWA The Wire rovno umiestnil na 9. priečku najlepších albumov roka 2020.

Úvod večera zaobstará umelkyňa a hudobníčka Lènok alias Lenka Adamcová, s elektronicko-vokálnymi trackmi zo svojej minuloročnej nahrávky Hip hyp hurá – Hyper hurá, popretkávanými soundscapes so sprievodom strunových nástrojov Ajky Hanusovej.
