Ľubomír Burgr
Artistic Director, theater and dance programmer. Ľubomír Burgr studied violin at the Kosice Conservatory and in 1996-1999 music composing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. In 2000 he and his colleagues founded the Association for Contemporary Opera, which is linked with activities of the theatre SkRAT (2004), in which he acts as an author, director, actor and composer.
Slávo Krekovič
Artistic Director and music programmer. He obtained his PhD at the Institute of Musicology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Slávo is a co-founder and Artistic Director of the NEXT international music festival and the KRAAA festival. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the contemporary culture magazine 3/4.
Nina de Gelder
Executive Director. Most of her professional life, she worked as a project manager in the field of culture and international relations. She worked as a Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
Barbora Nemčeková
Programmer of Kino inak. She studied Film and Screen Studies at the University of Brighton, and is currently studying at the Department of Audiovisual Studies at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. She regularly writes for the engaged monthly Kapitál and the online magazine about cinema Kinečko. She likes to analyze everything, including movies. In her free time she sleeps, walks the dog, reads contemporary Slovak poetry, plays tennis and talks to people about movies.
Ľudovít Nápoký
Project Manager. Ľudovít started in A4 as a volunteer while working on his PhD. Eventually he abandoned his studies to allow himself to be devoted to A4 fully. As a project manager he is responsible for Re-imagine Europe, artistic residences and the TEH (Transe Europe Halles).
Katarína Hrašková
Production manager. Production and Operations Manager. Katarína is currently studying film studies at VŠMU. She has always been close to production in art and culture - during high school (where she studied Chinese language) she founded and managed a cinema in Zvolen, at all levels - production, dramaturgy and visual identity. She has been working in film distribution and production, ad hoc in graphic design.
Patricia Batki
Volunteer coordinator. After her ESC volunteering project in A4, Patricia took on the position of volunteer coordinator. She is also involved in video production, exhibitions and hosts her beloved workshop of intuitive painting: Feel_your_paint. She is also a passionate painter herself and if you follow her on IG you can have a look into her artworks: @golden_abstraktion.
Minke ten Berge
Marketing & communication. She started her journey in A4 a few years ago as an ESC volunteer. Now, after her studies in Media, Art & Performance Studies, she is back as part of the marketing team. Her obsessions include: mycelium & mushrooms, analyzing theater performances, intersectional environmentalism and pasta with lemon.
Anete Bužoka
PR & Communication ESC volunteer. Hey there! I am Anete, originally from Riga, Latvia. After immersing myself in the vibrant culture and music scene of Tallinn and earning my bachelor’s degree from Tallinn University, I am now excited to explore Bratislava’s cultural wonders. I am all about music (especially hip-hop), concerts, reading, watching basketball, and skateboarding. I am also a very dedicated supporter of the Estonian rap scene.
Amélie Pret
Photography ESC volunteer. Ahojte, I'm Amélie, I came from France where I studied photography. I always had this call to travel and discover new places. My passion for artistic practices brings me in A4 where I'm excited to experiment and document this new universe! Otherwise, I like to drink hot water.
Paula Díaz
Technical support ESC volunteer. Hola, yo soy Paula. I studied audiovisual communication at the European University of the Atlantic, Cantabria, Spain. This stage corroborated my passion for cinema and everything that has to do with creating, recording and editing. I have worked in several countries and I always carry with me my camera, my airpods, my notebook and the desire to learn, to be inspired and to get to know (me). I couldn't live happily without my family, movies and the sea.
Eduarda Palmeira
Videography ESC volunteer. Hey there! I’m Eduarda, originally from Brazil, but lived in Portugal the past years, which I consider my second home. I've studied cinema and audiovisual at Escola Superior Artística do Porto and have being working as a filmmaker since. I’m excited to be part of the A4 team and film many creative projects. My guilty pleasures are pretty lights and the fog machine.
