Central Stage_Slovakia is a documentary film offering a fresh look at the Slovak theatre scene through interviews, rehearsals, and performances, exploring themes of identity and society amid Slovakia’s political and cultural challenges.

“As a French-German European Solidarity Corps volunteer at A4, my time in Slovakia became a personal journey. Initially aimed at understanding Slovak culture, it evolved into discovering my own place within it. The film captures both the artistic experiences I encountered and the roots I began to establish through engagement with various minorities and foreigners.” – Robin Jacquet

The screening is co-produced with festival [fjúžn]. The film was created within the European Solidarity Corps Programme and with the support of the theater companies Uhol_92 and Ludus in Bratislava.
