The performance is in Slovak with English subtitles.

This original drama maps the widespread phenomenon of internet conspiritualism. The pioneer of female psychoanalysis, Toni Wolff (1888-1953), colleague and lover of Gustav Jung, returns to the present. How will she react to the fact that people are now paying literally millions for lay interpretations of her theories?

The production was created in two stagings, which invite a double reading of the themes. The Carl version is performed by Jakub Jablonski and the Emma version is performed by Peter Tilajcik. Each version presents the same story arc, but with a particular cast the optics and associated gender and relationship nuances change. Does the theme of parenthood or broken friendships speak to you more? And how does Toni Wolff’s story change if she tells it not in the presence of her lover Jung, but his wife Emma? Come see both versions in sequence and you’ll get 100% of the artistic intent.

Toni Wolff… was awarded the DOSKY Award in the category Best Costume Design of the 2023/2024 season (Bet Moth) and the Tatra banka Foundation Award in the category Theatre – Young Creator (Alžbeta Vrzgula).

The reprise was supported from public funds by the main partner, the Slovak Arts Council.
