Do you have a thing for camping under the starry sky? Or for an international friend groups and informal getting to know about gaining new work experiences? For example in a mine?
It might sound like a notice board poster in your school but actually it has way more to do with fun. We are talking about a weekend trip to the heart of Slovakia with a group of volunteers of EVS. Another reunion of theirs will this time take place in between the castle walls of one beautiful old city in Slovakia.
Whatevs event is celebrating its sixth edition and this time too you will meet our very own A4 volunteers there. Nora from Spain, Natálie from Czech Republic, Dora from Poland and Minke from the Netherlands and many other members of the EVS (European Volunteer Service) from different countries are ready to barbecue and share their volunteering experiences. The meeting will this time take place in the historic city of Banská Štiavnica and the program includes not only the open air sleepover under the sky and guided tour of the town but also a mine visit and swimming in a volcanic lake. The best of summer camps!
Our volunteers are active during the summer also besides having a good time at the Whatevs# events. Behind the summer holiday closed doors of A4 they are helping with preparing the program for the next season, reconstructing the interior and organizing the first autumn exhibition by Nora. If you are in any way interested in the volunteering activities or even intrigued to take part in EVS after school – don’t hesitate and visit Banská Štiavnica next weekend for some volunteering fun.
