A4 – Priestor súčasnej kultúry, Bratislava (Slovakia)
Radian (AT), Matúš Wiedermann, мʌvʌ
Martin Brandlmayr (bicie, elektronika), John Norman (basa) a Martin Siewert (gitara, elektronika) sú kľúčovými osobnosťami viedenskej scény už minimálne od polovice 90. rokov. Vydávajú na zásadnej americkej značke Thrill Jockey spolu s Tortoise, Emptyset či Matmos a ich emocionálne nabité, rytmické inštrumentálne tracky stavajú na kontrastoch medzi tichom a intenzitou, svetlom a temnotou, medzi komponovanými pasážami a improvizáciou. Ak by sa niečo dalo označiť ako netuctový, imaginatívny post-rock s elektronikou, plný napätia a vzrušujúcich momentov, tak je to Radian.
V rámci projektu medzinárodnej spolupráce Re-Imagine Europe, spolufinancovaného EU programom Kreatívna Európa, Fondom na podporu umenia a Bratislavským samosprávnym krajom.

Martin Brandlmayr (drums, electronics), John Norman (bass) and Martin Siewert (guitar, electronics) have been the key figures of the Viennese scene since the mid 90s. They release their music with the major American label Thrill Jockey together with Tortoise, Emptyset or Matmos. Their emotionally charged, rhythmic instrumental tracks build on the contrasts between silence and intensity, light and darkness, between composed passages and improvisation. If we were to describe something anti-conventional imaginative post-rock with electronics full of tensions and exciting moments – it would have to be Radian.
